Massage

Sports massage can be divided into four types: pre-event, post-event, maintenance, and rehabilitation. The human body responds differently to each type of massage, and therapists have a variety of techniques they can use to achieve the desired results.

Fire Cupping

Fire cupping is an alternative, non-invasive treatment technique that uses special cups placed on the skin to encourage blood flow to damaged areas. This unique therapy is often recommended to patients who suffer from muscular pain, joint pain, skin problems, and/or respiratory disorders.

Blades

The technical term for this technique is Assisted Soft-Tissue Neurosensory Modulation (IASTM). Rock blades provide deeper penetration of adhesions and scar tissue and can be used for joint pain, injury, lower back or neck pain.

About Me.

My name is David Feaviour

I’ve been a qualified sports massage therapist since 2021.

I currently work out of physical limits gym in Clacton, I also offer home visits and am fully equipped to be mobile if you cannot make it into the gym.

As a sports massage therapist I cover a wide range of muscle injuries, everything from head to toe.

I’m constantly increasing my knowledge on muscle movement and development as this is something that I am very passionate about and want to ensure that I can help my clients with any aches and pains that are affecting them.

My aim is to keep you moving!

Why did I become a sports massage therapist?

I pulled my lower back a few years ago to the point it felt broken, after seeing a doctor and them just giving me pain killers. I went and spoke to a sports massage therapist who proceeded to free up my back. After 3 visits the movement I had was better than before the injury. I found this fascinating. After finding out I was going to be made redundant I took to the only other thing that I was obsessed with, which is how the body works and moves.

This then became my sole focus and I’ve not looked back.
